ICR Creation Collection Series

The inspiration for this booklet was a man who appreciated that plants are interesting. Their ecological relationships among themselves and with animals, lead us to reflect on God’s providential designs. This whimsical collection of topics such as poisonous plants, edible insects, the benefits of trees, and electrical signaling between and within plants, all point us to God’s oversight over creation.

ICR Creation Collection Series

Major ideas on the relationship of organisms to each other and to their origins, require a lot of thought. Evolution has long been popular, but alternative less popular interpretations (like creation) require lots more information and evaluating. Quite a lot of material in this booklet involves a discussion of defensive strategies in plants. The authors suggest that all plants are provided with a system of continuous environmental tracking  (CET) which allows these organisms to detect an attack on the integrity of the plant (such as virus, bacterium, fungus,  or grazing animal). The authors declare that evolutionists talk about a blind process that “tinkers,” looking for solutions. God the Creator, however, designs a system in advance, that fills all needs.

Besides this innovative discussion, the book also includes observations on the flood model, origin of land plants (not from algae!), and epigenetics (whole new area of genetics studies). It is obvious that this book is ideal for people looking for ground cutting research. Obviously, this information  is just the beginning. There will be lots more to learn in the future!

Discovering God’s Underwater Wonders

When you visit an aquarium, what might you see? Where did this variety of life come from? Evolution says a single-cell organism developed into marine invertebrates, then vertebrates, then life that crawled out on land, and eventually—us! But the evidence tells a different story. The fossil record shows no transitions from water to land. Join ICR scientists as they explore the wonders of God’s underwater world.

Jake Hebert with Brian Thomas, Frank Sherwin and Timothy Clarey
Paperback / $10.00 / 160 Pages / full colour

The solar system is not the simple picturesque grouping of planets around the sun that we like to imagine. There are many complicated details concerning the planets and their moons. At first glance, the solar system appears young. However, many scientists try to explain all this in terms of long ages. Hebert and colleagues however demonstrate how compelling are our conclusions of recent creation. Why not arm yourself with interesting discussions, details and testimony of the Biblical record?

ICR Creation Collection Series

Many members of the public are fascinated by T. rex, the fossil dinosaur that is large, ugly and rare! Apparently, there is an astonishingly wide variety of studies devoted to this creature. The interesting news is that these studies better fit the creation model and flood geology than any evolutionary speculations. Among the issues discussed are lack of T. rex ancestors (which would be needed for figuring out lines of descent, if any); unfossilized material in their bones (suggesting recent age), no feathers (suggested bird descent from dinosaurs is all wrong); and mixed marine and freshwater sediments connected with T. rex fossils (suggesting flood geology). There are ample illustrations in this booklet which is written for the interested adult.
